beef patties with cream sauce - yields 4 servings

2 eggs
1⁄4 cup milk
3 tablespoons catsup
1⁄2 cup quick oats
1⁄4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄3 teaspoon pepper
1 1⁄4 pounds of ground beef
4 tablespoons flour

cream sauce
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1⁄4 teaspoon thyme
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
1 (15 ounce) can chicken broth
2⁄3 cup milk

method

heat oven to 380 degrees F. in a large bowl mix first 7 ingredients and stir add beef and mix well form 7 patties and then roll in flour place on greased baking pans Bake uncovered for 16 minutes turn and bake 12 more minutes

sauce
melt butter in saucepan stir in flour thyme salt and pepper slowly add broth and milk bring to a boil cook and stir for 3 minutes serve over patties
